However, this Pesa na Pesa service can be accessed by individuals who are Safaricom Subscribers. It offers emergency loans to an applicant by issuing a short term emergency funds. It can only be accessed through the means of a USSD code *415*33#.

ELIGIBILITY;

The following are the requirement needed to be registered;

An applicant should have the following requirements to be registered:

• A National Identification Card (ID)
• A phone number
• An active email address
• A postal address

The following are the steps for registering on Pesa na Pesa:

• Use a mobile phone to simply dial *415*33#
• Fill in the required details
• Then the amount of money you can be issued with will appear
• Lastly you will be issued with a PIN number [It will only be used by you]
• Once you have successfully completed them, you will be a registered member of Pesa na Pesa.

Incase an individual forget the PIN he/she was given simply dial *415*33*2#.

• Simply dial *415*33#
• Then proceed to borrow the amount of money you need to be granted

Pesa Sasa is initials for Pesa meaning ‘money’ and Sasa meaning ‘Now’. Pesa Sasa is issued by means of either a mobile phone or tablet or PC. It was established by Fama Capital Partners Limited (FCP). Pesa Sasa is given through partnership together with employers and organized groups.

ELIGIBILITY;

-An applicant should contain the following to qualify for Pesa Sasa:

• A mobile phone that has been registered
• An applicant should have been employed for at least 6 months in the same company
